With this.

BYE.

(This blog=keeping me from better and more important things in life)

Be back soon! :)

August 31, 2006

So, in order to support my best friend, I’ll be refraining from flickr and this wordpress blog, and basically all things internet except for researching and e-mail.  I blame it on her, but I love her and I need a break anyway. 🙂

She told me so

Boys have a definite ability to be dumb.  If you know a boy who you haven’t seen act dumb, I gua-run-tee that he has in the past or will in the future.

For her sake… ♥ Here is the anticipated birthday post that got screwed up yesterday when I attempted to write it.

Friday night: All of the guys, including youth pastor, had gone over to the house of one of the boys’.  So his wife (along with their four month old baby boy) invited a couple of the youth girls, including me and my sister, over to spend the night.  We had a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake to celebrate my birthday too.  Only three of us slept over, but there was a few more that attended.  It was really fun. 🙂

Saturday: My sister and I went back home, and after lunch we went to Wal-Mart where I purchased the “new” Teddy Geiger CD I had been wanting.  See, My parents gave me $85 for my birthday so I could get whatever I wanted.  I was a little precarious about it since I’m very money-concious and stuff, but I of course accepted it.  🙂  After Emily and I went to Wal-Mart we went to the movie theatre and saw Material Girls which came out on Friday.  After that we went to a bubble tea place, but it was closed.  So then we opted to go to Barnes and Nobles where I bought the Bethany Dillon CD Imagination (I have the first one, already)Following that, we went to a different bubble tea cafe (which was open!) where I got a mango bubble tea.  Yum!  We got home around 5:30pm and chilled the rest of the night.  To top it all off, a new Phil of the Future (The Disney Channel show)episode so happened to come on at 7pm, and we all know that is one of my favorite shows.  😛

There you go.  Happy? 🙂  Ooh, and today we went to my aunt & uncle’s house to celebrate all of the birthday in August.  About five or six August birthday’s in our family, tee hee.

WHAT?

August 20, 2006

Noo!!! I just wrote a whole long entry about today (my birthday, tee hee!).  I also thanked Chelsea and Echo for the plugs and nice words from Echo about my photography.  Meh.  It was such a nice little post too.  I went on about my birthday and all sorts of stuff.  I don’t feel like re-typing it all now though, but I promise I will do it some time soon — and I will also be updating my flickr soon. 😉

And so it begins!

August 16, 2006

Last week I started one school subject: Bible.  I was able to nine weeks worth of lessons in those five days, to help clear my plate a little this school year.  It wasn’t until yesterday, however that I started all of my other subjects.  I use the A Beka curriculum DVDs, except for Home Ec which I don’t believe they have a DVD for.  It’s really weird to me that I’m a sophomore.  I feel really young, but I feel kind of nervous because college isn’t too far away now.  It’s also weird for me because my older sister, Emily, is now a senior in high school.  Put with the fact that she now has her license and drives me places, and she turned seventeen this summer..agh!  She grew up before I was ready. 😦

NOCCA orientation is tommorrow, so begins a nother year at the performing arts high school.  It’ll be cool to see everyone again, but along with it comes more classes, more unwanted homework and more music!

On another note:  Thank you kiddos for all of the birthday wishes!  And another thing, I’ve started taking pictures for the little stars tutorial.

Coming soon…

August 12, 2006

…I’m going to do a little tutorial on how to make these star..things… because Chelsea of UM.net is just so cool! 🙂

I’ve been memorizing Psalm 139 lately, so far I have the first 10 verses.  I’m really excited, Psalm 139 is such a cool passage in the Bible.

On another note:  Eeeee! Echoia.com is back up! Go visit! 😀  And btw, my birthday is August 19th, next Saturday!  Jennifer will be 15… 🙂

Before I forget, Happy Birthday mom & dad!  Yesterday, August 3rd, was my dad’s birthday, and today, August 4th, is my mom’s! 🙂  I love them both.

I will dance – I will sing – to be mad for my King – nothing, Lord, is hindering this passion in my soul!

I will dance – I will sing – to be mad for my King – nothing, Lord, is hindering this passion in my soul!

And I’ll become even more undignified than this – some may say it’s foolishness, but – I’ll become even more undignified than this – Leave my pride, by my side

La la la la HEY! La la la la HEY!

It’s all for you my LORD!

I love that song.  It was one of our songs @ Centrifuge this summer.  This Sunday while we do our presentation and lead worship and stuff (our youth group’s taking over the service this week!) we’ll be singing that song.  They’ll be testimonies and stories & pictures & videos from camp. It’s gonna be really cool!

My new favorite model

August 3, 2006

…just so happens to be Shadow.  I can’t get over how cute she is, and our family camera takes good portrait shots of her.  Especially outside… 🙂  If you get a chance, go to my flickr and check out all of the Shadow shots.  They’re under “People & Animals”, so go to that set and scroll down a bit; you might have to go to the second page to see them.  LOL.  I can’t get over how cute she is.  Even though she is 14 years old, she still looks like a wittle puppy.  🙂

On another note, it’s a relief to know that Echoia.com will be back soon.  I was getting a little worried when it said yesterday that, “This page does not exist”.  =\

I took this in the old school building at my church earlier this month.  There was a Suzuki camp taking place there (kind of a music camp) and this is the room that I was teaching (or being an ASSISTANT teacher ha!) in.  Anyway.  So here’s the window…thing…

On another note, my mother, sister and I hit the mall today!  HUGE sale at JCPenney, and then we hit Target for some other awesome finds!  I also got a cute little dress from Forever 21.  Fun!
